Happy Birthday Kels!!!

We went to The Roof to celebrate Kelsey's Sweet 16!!! I can't believe my little baby sister is dating now!!! I love you Kelsey.... You are my mini-me in the making and my best friend :)

I've been to DC and Philly a few times but this trip just REALLY made me SO grateful for the men and women who have gone before and risked their lives for our freedom and THANK YOU to those currently serving!

NYC & DC

It was perfect timing to go on a trip and be with my family after everything that had happened. The first few days we just relaxed and went to the beach and then John and I went into the city a few times while my grandma watched Jake. My parents and sister flew out that next week so I was able to spend a week with them as John had to get back home for school. We had so much fun in the city and probably walked about 9-10 miles a day!! On Thursday July 3rd my dad took Kel and I to DC for the big 4th of July party!! It was a fun trip and we ate at SO many good restaurants! Then on Sunday we stayed in Philly... if you ever go there eat at Jims... it is the BEST place for a cheese steak :)

On Friday June 20th John and I were so excited because this was the day of our big ultra sound. The tech was taking for ever to tell us if it was a boy or girl. After a while she said she needed to talk to the nurse since my doctor wasn't in that day. When the nurse came in she confirmed the ultra sound and told us that they couldn't find a heartbeat. We were in total shock because I had just been to the doctor two weeks prior and the heartbeat was perfect. The nurse said that I was too far along (19 weeks) to have a D &C so I would have to deliver my baby. That night I went to the hospital and Saturday June 21st I delivered Christine Elle Morris. It has been a hard time but John and I know that Heavenly Father is in control and we are so grateful for all of our many blessings in our lives... ESPECIALLY JAKE!!!

Vegas Vacation

John had a week off from school the first week in May so we took off for a little family trip to Vegas! We had so much fun just laying by the pool and eating at the Wynn buffett :) Jake was a little angel and had so much fun looking at all the people!

Brother or Sister??!!

John and I are expecting baby number 2!! The due date is Nov. 12 so Jake and the baby will be only 14 months apart!! Some days I think...What in the HECK are we doing.... but we just love Jake and can't wait for number 2!! This picture was on the announcment I sent to our families :)
