Phoenix Zoo

jake loves loves loves the phoenix zoo.... we have had our pass for two weeks and we've been three times.... and i am loving arizona, 70 degree days, and sunshine :)

christmas 2009

we had a busy december!! my dad and brother came to phoenix to drive me and the kids back to utah. john stayed for two more weeks and then drove to utah. my sweet dad got up with halle pretty much every night so i could get caught up on some much needed sleep :)


john gave halle a beautiful baby blessing and ALL of our grandparents were there...such a special night!

i took jake to elmo live and he loved it!! this was his smile for about a week... eyes shut tight and a big fake smile :)

jake has been so cute the past two weeks...he has been such a helper and has had my mom and grandma laughing non stop!! we love, love him :)

4-generation picture.... my mom and grandma have been such a help(cooking good meals, taking jake to the store everyday to buy a toy, holding halle, changing diapers, ect.). i had mastitis and was out for three days but i'm finally feeling better. i had it with jake too... i would not wish this upon anyone! i am in for a shock when they leave tomorrow.

jake's new toy..............

thanks mom and dad.....they bought jakey a tramp and i can't even express my excitement that he will now be constantly entertained!!!

the best part is that jake thought he was helping but he was putting the springs on the wrong way... he probably did more than half the tramp this way and he was so proud to be helping!

happy LATE birthday jake!!!

we love you jake!!! at his two year check up he was 95% on weight and off the chart for height.... we can't wait to see what sports this little athlete will do! he loves, loves playing tennis and this lefty can really throw a ball :)

john was fascinated with the new bridge at the hoover dam and i was so hot i really could have cared less :) maybe one day i'll want to stop and see it

we took jake to vegas for his 2nd birthday.... aren't we the best parents??!! we had a lot of fun eating good food, swimming, watching the water show and just hanging out at the hotel :) we just love jake so much even though he is the most determined, stubborn, and motivated little boy i have ever met...seriously! but i know these are going to be his strengths when he gets older and i am so lucky to have such a fun little boy with such a huge personality :)
