Union Pacific Trains

Jake LOVED walking up to these trains which are about five minutes from our house.

He thought it was so funny to see all cars driving by on the freeway.... Jake LOVES to point at whatever he is interested in....it's so cute and it helps our communication!!

'Just Beause' Flowers

I LOVE getting flowers for no reason!!! John is SO sweet and surprised me with these over the weekend :) THANKS BABE.... I LOVE YOU!!

Not so BABY Jake

Jake just cracks me up!! He LOVES his new Elmo chair... When I say 'Where's Elmo?' he will go over and put his head down on the chair and pat the sides like he is really giving Elmo a hug!

Another thing Jake LOVES is the Children's Museum.... Jake is being a TRUE Nebraskan and walking through the cornfields :)

This is John's MOST FAVORITE meal I make :) It's super easy.... I followed a meatloaf recipe in BHG, cut the tops off the peppers, cleaned them out, and stuffed 'em! Drop them in a crock-pot, cover with crushed tomatoes and pasta sauce. Then just cook them on low for about 6-7 hours. Serve with sour cream........

Jake has HAIR!!!

So many people have commented that Jake doesn't have any hair or very little.... well here is a picture of him with a ponytail to show you all that he does have hair!! Look close at his ponytail...

This is Jake's one year pictures... He was a doll and was cracking himself up! The photographer said this was the easiest session he's had!

So Dr. Powell, the director of the dental program at the UofU /Creighton, took all of the Utah dental students and spouses out to dinner tonight. Jake was good for about half the time and then he had enough.... This is a funny picture of him with me and a serious one with his dad :)
