Easter Sunday

I hid eggs and Easter baskets for John and Jake...with Jake's help they found them :) We love every minute with him!!!

Christmas Fun

We went to SLC for 5 weeks over Christmas. We blessed Jake and then my family planned a fun trip to the Utah bowl game in California, Disneyland and Vegas!!! We left Jake with John's parents and had a GREAT vacation!

Life After the Womb

Jake was a litle Jaundice the first week of life! We had to put him in the PEP unit 24/7 except to eat. It was like a little tanning bed and he loved it because it was so warm... I would always ask the nurse if I could get in there too :)

I had a great labor and delivery. I woke up that morning and my water broke so I called my doctor to se if I needed to rush to the hospital or if I could shower first. He said to take a shower and then come on over...so, I took a shower, did my hair and make-up, cleaned up the house and ate breakfast AND THEN went to the hospital! The labor and delivery went super fast and when Jake popped out I said, "Is that it?!"

One Month After The Honeymoon...

Yep, you guessed it!! Baby Jake was in the making!!!

Mexican Honeymoon

We had a wonderful honeymoon in Mexico...2 months after our wedding! I had a surgery 3 days before we left and had to be pushed around in a wheelchair for half the trip!! I am ALWAYS reminding John that I need a second honeymoon asap :)

We had a BEAUTIFUL fall wedding day!! Everything just worked out perfect and then the next morning we took off for Omaha...SO NOT a honeymoon destination!

So This Is Where It All Begins

John and I met at a church activity at Lake Powell June of 06.We dated for a very short 5 weeks and then we were engaged! The main reason for the rushed engagment was John had to move to Omaha the first week of August to start his 2nd year of dental school... So I got my ring, he moved to Omaha, I planned the wedding, and John flew in to SLC 3 days before our wedding(that was his only break from school). So we posponed our honeymoon until December and we made our home in Nebraska!
